A simple vision
I founded Nized Up Productions with specific goals in mind - help young stagehands gain experience and become educated in the industry at fair, above average compensation; and to help further our local music scene by providing a platform, both physically and metaphorically, for them to perform on and increase their overall appeal and outreach to gain widespread success as musicians.
At Nized Up Productions, it is my goal to provide exemplary staging services at a very affordable, community-minded price point. As a curator, it is my hope and dream to allow for art and music to exist side by side in our community to allow for radical freedom of expression, active community participation, and civic responsibility. Together, we can create something wonderful.

The friends who inspired it all
Froggy P is a longtime friend and up-and-coming producer based out of Wilmington, NC. Featuring driving basslines, complex sound engineering, and committed, creative use of sounds and rhythms, a Froggy P set is not something to miss. As a fellow curator, he is involved in many unique productions himself. Check him out on SoundCloud and follow his socials for what events he's involved in!
Dredlok is another longtime friend and producer, delivering ground shaking bass at any and every show he's played at. Following an explosive year of successes, he enrolled in a prestigious sound design college in the UK and has nearly made his way back to the states. Get ready for some wild touring and intensive dancing, because it's just about time to get down with the Dredlok Sound!
Phyphr, you guessed it, is a longtime friend and electronic music producer who is now based in Denver, CO. Following a meteoric rise to touring with large name acts like Manic Focus, The Floozies, and Maddy O'Neal, Phyphr is poised to become a household name in the funk industry. Serving funky, wiggling tunes from his live guitar and manipulating sounds as a DJ, his shows are a dance party waiting to happen!
Mosey is a three piece psychedelic band from the 70's themselves - featuring wild stretches of beautiful jams, soaring peaks and low down riffs, if you catch yourself at a Mosey show you'll be doing a lot more than moseying down to the bar afterwards - these fine folks sure do bring the heat. My personal friend Hunter Edwards provides the drums with Nick Riffle on bass & Cole Mellen rounding out the group on guitar.
Psynatra is nearly wholly responsible for providing an inspiring example of what it means to lead an art community. A close friend and incredible DJ as well as promoter, he is responsible for some of the largest electronic acts bookings in recent years, bringing the Zebbler Encanti Experience to Wilmington as well as cofounding and running the Liquid Culture group. His niche genre of psy-bass downtempo and midtempo allows for mastery of his craft and a Psynatra is an experience to behold.
Dr. Bacon is quite a greasy experience - in all the best ways. A 6-piece band hailing from Asheville, NC, these funk masters cross-bred with jam masters delivers a high energy, foot stomping time that will leave you breathless and wanting more. Jesse Talbott and Myles Dunder are old friends of mine and have been visionaries in hosting their own event, The Smokedown, that has inspired many folks, myself included, in bringing communities together around art and music.
Cheyenne Champion & Friendly Fire are an amazing group of extended and direct family, blazing their way through long, intricate jams inspired by Janis Joplin herself! Cheyenne is one of my oldest friends and watching her develop her skills as a live musician has been a beautiful experience. Catch one of their shows for an experience unlike any other - soaring saxophone, shredding guitar and amazing drum solos await - and their entourage travels exclusively in VW buses for that sweet sense of nostalgia from the old touring days.
